Well Informed Investor

A Well Informed investor is an investor who is not a Professional Investor and fulfils at least one of the sub-criteria from both (a) and (b) below, where

(i) the investor has sufficient knowledge and experience in financial and business matters to evaluate the potential merits and risks associated with the investments of the Fund, or
(ii) the investor has business activity related to the management, acquisition or sale of assets, of the same type as the investments of the Fund.

(i) the investor invests at least €125.000 in the Fund, or
(ii) the investor has been assessed to have knowledge and experience in financial and business matters to evaluate the potential merits and risks associated with the investments of the Fund, by a credit institution OR by a UCITS management company OR by an Investment Firm in the European Union.

Professional Investor

A Professional investor is an investor that fulfils the sub-criteria from either (a) or (b) below, where

(i) if an individual, the investor has been employed for more than one (1) year in the financial industry, and
(ii) the investor has carried an average of 10 financial transactions per quarter for the previous 4 quarters.

(i) if a legal entity, the investor is licensed and regulated to operate in financial markets by a competent national authority, or
(ii) the investor is a large undertaking having a balance sheet of over €20 million and/or net turnover of t least €40 million and/or has own funds of at least €2 million, or
(iii) the investor is an institutional investors whose main activity is to invest in financial instruments, including entities dedicated to the securitisation of assets or other financing transactions.
